Covenant Prep Reads Across America-  Goal: To encourage students to read by rewarding their efforts while tracking their progress across the USA.

Methodology: Each Student who completes a book fills out a standard form to prove that they have completed the book. Each page of each complete book counts for one mile. Students progress is then marked on the big board. After certain benchmarks are reached students receive increasingly larger prizes. The first 2-5 students who complete the journey will be rewarded with an ice cream party with the principal at Friendly's. 

Route: The pre-designed route is intended to map the students progress visually, while presenting the "prize zones" in which the students earn a reward. There is an outbound route and an inbound route. The outbound route starts in Hartford, heads slightly north, dips south and ends in San Francisco. The inbound route starts in San Francisco , sweeps up and down the mid west until finally heading north back to Hartford.
