A successful Covenant Preparatory School candidate will…

  • Be a young man who states a strong desire to engage in an academically rigorous environment and pursue a college education

  • Demonstrate strong character and integrity

  • Commit to being a positive & productive contributor not only to the School community, but to the greater community in which he lives

  • Possess a strong academic record (mostly As & Bs)

The Covenant Preparatory School application process will include…

  • Completing the application process for both the applicant and his family, including written essay responses and acquiring academic records & recommendation letters

  • A “shadow day” in which the applicant spends the entire day at Covenant Preparatory School, alongside a current student; during the “shadow day,” the applicant will participate in all aspects of the school day

  • Completing the MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) test, a standardized test which will compare the applicant’s academic progress with national norms in language usage, reading, and mathematics

  • Interviews with both the applicant and family where a variety of questions will be asked to gauge the applicant’s readiness for Covenant Preparatory School and the family’s commitment to supporting both the School and the student; the interview will be conducted by members of the school administration and teaching faculty

Application for Admission

CPS accepts applications on a rolling basis for the following academic school year. We do not typically accept students mid-year. Please contact us if you need mid-year admission.
