Fabian Pietersen

Head of School

For over 24 years, Fabian has worked in education (in England and South-Africa) as a lecturer and teacher. A Qualified Teacher in England, Fabian has also completed the Foundation Leadership Programme at the Institute of Education (University of London) and a Professional Management Programme (Honors equivalent) at the Open University. He is currently studying for a Masters degree in Special Needs and Disability (Chester University.) Fabian has served a variety of leadership roles in the middle and high schools where he worked, including: Deputy Head of Mathematics, Director of Tutorial, Head of Academic Progress, and Assistant Headteacher. He is passionate about ensuring all students have access to and enjoy a wide variation of experiences while developing skills that will support them post graduation. He enjoys traveling to new places, spending time with family, playing soccer (properly called football), making sausage, grilling, and playing sports, especially squash, and he loves playing the guitar.
