ART PROGRAM

  • Our art program’s main goals are to instill an appreciation and love of art in each student and to help each student feel confident about his ability to use visual art to express himself. Students discover and explore the creative process through drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture. We emphasize the elements of art and the principles of design. Also, throughout the year, we introduce the students to different art movements, styles, and famous artists.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION PROGRAM

  • At Covenant Prep, we recognize the benefits of exercise and physical activity for all of our students.  From its benefits to a student's overall health to his focus in the classroom, opportunities to be active, develop athletic skills and physical strength, and to work as part of a team are all benefits to the physical education program.  CPS is fortunate to have its own gymnasium, as well as access to local parks and fields for use in the physical education program.

HEALTH, CHARACTER, & PATHWAYS TO COLLEGE AND CAREER

  • Students who develop a holistic strength within themselves have a greater capacity to lead and contribute to the overall strength of their communities.  A unique curricular component at Covenant Preparatory School, the health, character, & spirituality program rotates between topics in these three areas.  As students explore these aspects of their lives, they are challenged to further develop a deep understanding of how a physically, morally, and spiritual strong person can greatly impact the lives of others.
